Search DAV declared & tender drug prices on Medibase — updated 2026-08-10

Medibase now mirrors the public dataset published by Vietnam's Drug Administration (DAV) at dichvucong.dav.gov.vn/congbogiathuoc and adds cross-field indexed search on top. Look up declared wholesale prices or hospital tender-winning prices by active ingredient, registration number, manufacturer or country of origin — with the latest sync date and record count shown on every query.

## What the tool does

Where the data comes from. All pricing rows come from the Cục Quản lý Dược (DAV) — Drug Administration of Vietnam — public portal at https://dichvucong.dav.gov.vn/congbogiathuoc/index">dichvucong.dav.gov.vn/congbogiathuoc. DAV publishes two related datasets:

  • Declared wholesale prices — the price at which a marketing-authorisation holder or importer declares the drug will be supplied to the trade (Article 130, Law on Pharmacy 105/2016; Article 13 of Circular 08/2020 as amended).
  • Tender winning prices — the actual awarded prices at hospital procurement tenders published under Circular 07/2024/TT-BYT and the broader public-procurement disclosure rules.

Medibase ingests both feeds on a scheduled timer and stores them alongside registration and recall data, so a single query can cross-reference price with regulatory status.

What Medibase adds on top. The DAV portal renders each dataset as a paged HTML table with a single search box. Medibase adds:

  • Indexed full-text search across drug name, active ingredient, registration number, declarant/manufacturer and country of origin.
  • "In-force only" filter that hides expired registrations by default.
  • Deep-link URLs (every query is a shareable link).
  • Trilingual UI (EN / VI / JA) with the same underlying data.
  • Freshness signalling on every page — you see the last sync date and total row count before you spend time filtering.

The dataset is a reference cache. When you cite a price for a regulatory or procurement filing, verify the specific record against the DAV portal — that remains the authoritative source.

## Who this is for

  • Hospital procurement teams preparing bid documents that must justify a proposed price against comparable declarations.
  • Pharmacists and wholesalers cross-checking a supplier quote against the declared ceiling.
  • Marketing-authorisation holders monitoring how their own drugs are priced across channels, and where they sit against therapeutic-class comparators.
  • Regulatory affairs and health-economics analysts who need indexed access to the historical price series without scraping the portal.

## How to use it

1. Open Medibase → Search → Drug pricing (DAV). 2. Type an active ingredient (e.g. `paracetamol`, `atorvastatin`) or a registration number (`VN-` / `VD-` / `QLĐB-`) in the search box. 3. Use the manufacturer and country-of-origin filters to narrow scope. 4. Uncheck In-force only if you also want expired declarations for historical reference. 5. Click through to the DAV portal from the citation link on any row when you need the authoritative record.
