Pharmacovigilance

The science and practice of detecting, assessing, understanding and preventing adverse effects and other drug-related problems. In Vietnam, mandatory adverse-drug-reaction reporting flows to the National Drug Information and Adverse Drug Reactions Monitoring Centre ("Trung tâm DI & ADR Quốc gia") under the Hanoi University of Pharmacy, with regional centres at Ho Chi Minh City and other hubs. The duty to report covers manufacturers, importers, hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals.
