Regulatory & legal
Definition
A WHO-format certificate issued by the regulatory authority of the exporting country, certifying that a finished drug is authorised for sale there, is manufactured under valid GMP, and giving formulation and labelling details. CPPs are a standard part of the Vietnamese import dossier; previously they required consular legalisation. From 11 September 2026 (when the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention enters into force for Vietnam), apostille replaces consular legalisation for CPPs originating from Convention member states. For Vietnamese exports, DAV issues a Vietnamese CPP via procedure QT.ĐT.02.01.
